Mary Carolyn McCune

Mary Graduated high school and married Donald McCune on October 16, 1955. They had five children. Mary enjoyed traveling around the world with her husband, with his military service. She also enjoyed helping at the West Erwin Church of Christ and Chandler Church of Christ. She loved to crochet and knit. Also being the mother of five children kept her very busy.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, James Melvin Kuykendall; her mother, Mary Bell Kuykendall; her husband, Donald Boyd McCune; her brother, Karl Kennon Kuykendall; her son, Larry Dwain McCune, her grandsons, Brian Michael McCune and Sean Patrick McCune; her daughter-in-law, Wanda Louise McCune.

Survivors include her brother, James Hubert Kuykendall; her children, Michael Wayne McCune, Ronald Lane McCune (Sonya Rena McCune), Richard Blaine McCune (Linda Kay McCune), Dianne Lynn Walls (Tim Walls); her grandchildren, Alan Ray McCune, Melissa Renee McCune, Erin Elizabeth McCune, Amber Nichole Watts, Richard Lynn McCune, Jonathan Blaine McCune, Cameron Alexander McCune; her great-grandchildren, Zoe Watts, Addi Quain, Landon Quain, Harper Mae Sparks, Hazel Sparks, Emaira Kay McCune, Zenathan Blaine McCune and Zyla Dawn McCune.

A graveside service for Mary will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2026 at Chandler Memorial Cemetery with Ed Stover officiating, under direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home, Tyler.
