

Services for Mary Frances Phillips, 83, of Tyler are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 4, 2014, at West Erwin Church of Christ under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home. Burial is in Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery.
Mary passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, in Tyler.
She was born on February 7, 1931, in Tyler to the late Marvin Francis and Wilma Denton Jones. Mary was a member of West Erwin Church of Christ where she enjoyed working in the Benevolence Center.
She is survived by her daughter, Julia Phillips, of Lampasas; sons, Reagan Phillips, of Jacksonville, Denton Phillips, of Noonday, and Marshall Phillips, of Beaumont; granddaughter, M’Lynn Phillips, of Lubbock; sister, Jeanie Lou Smith, of New Windsor, New York; nephews, Bob Smith, Jr. and Seth Cunningham; nieces, Loyce Wright and Jeanie Maciejko; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Hulet Phillips; and infant daughter, Jennifer Ann Phillips.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
