Michael James Carey

Visitation will be Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Lloyd James Funeral Home from 5 pm to 7 pm.

Michael passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 in Whitehouse, Texas.

He was born on June 15, 1939 in Miami, Florida to James Otis and Mildred Genevieve Higgins Carey.

Michael was a Catholic.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Margaret Sandford .

He is survived by three sons and their wives: Dennis & Brinda Carey- Rogers, Arkansas, James & Fayline Carey- Whitehouse, Patrick & Laura Carey-Whitehouse; two daughters and their husbands: Deborah & Keith Dorsey- Henderson, Theresa & Rob Brown- Henderson; a brother and his wife- Tim & Sara Carey- Whitehouse; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be the grandsons: Michael Carey, Matthew Carey, Marcus Carey, Kristopher Smith, Kevin Smith, Thomas Carey, Mitchell Dorsey, Timothy Carey, and Tyler Dorsey.
