Naomi Luman Lane of Kemp, TX, was born January 14, 1946, to Rev. Grover and Rev. Nettie Pittman in Pensacola, FL. She is preceded in death by her parents, her late husbands, Bill Lane and JC Lumin, daughter, Mica Thompson, and brother Cecil Pittman, and sister Betty Evans. Following a battle with lung cancer, she passed away peacefully at home on February 2, 2023, at the age of 77. She is survived by her daughter, Diedra Green and husband Loyd, her brothers Reverend Joe Pittman wife Doris Pittman, and James Pittman wife Charlotte Pittman, grand children, Randa and Joshua Boaz, and great grandchildren, Kelsey Cantwell, Lincoln, Remi and Bellani Boaz, a new great grand baby is on the way.
Naomi earned her nursing degree at Tyler Junior College, Tyler, TX. She retired as the Vice President of Visiting Nurses of East Texas. She was a member of Cedar Creek Church of God, Gun Barrel City, TX.
A visitation will be held at the Lloyd James Funeral Home at 1011 East First street in Tyler, TX, from 5 - 7pm, on February 6. A memorial service will be held at The Voice of Deliverance Church at 102 Judy St, Whitehouse, TX, at 2pm on February 7.
