Norma Ruth Hearne Moore

Ruth was born December 19, 1934 in Hope, Arkansas. She was raised and educated in Kilgore, Texas.

She was married for 32 years to the love of her life, George Hearne. He preceded her in death in 2003. She was also preceded in death by her father, Floyd Silvertooth; Mother, Hazel Foster, Step-father, Carl Foster; one daughter, Norma Richard; and brothers, R.B. Silvertooth, Seward Silvertooth, M.C. Silvertooth, Jamie Silvertooth, Bill Silvertooth; and one sister, Earlene King.

Ruth is survived by her twin brother, Ray Silvertooth of LaFayette, Louisiana, two daughters, Rhonda Grimes and son-n-law, Bobby Grimes of Kilgore, Texas and Jerri Handy of Tyler, Texas. One grandson, Dustin Richard of Harriman, Tennessee; one granddaughter, Madison Loginovs and husband, Sean Loginovs of New Mexico and Rene Hearn of Florida; one great-granddaughter, Emma Regan of New Mexico; one great-grandson, Dean Lovinovs of New Mexico; several nieces and nephews.

In her young years, she was a hairdresser and then worked a short time in the office at J.C. Penney and retired from Brookshires as a bakery manager. She enjoyed being a grandmother and family get togethers. She also enjoyed traveling.

A Service to Celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 2026 in the Chapel of Lloyd James Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Ward officiating. She will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Cemetery
