He was born on May 7, 1933 in Roundflat. He worked in the health field for 45 years. He proudly served his country in the USAF on active duty from 1953-57.
He graduated from North Texas University.
His happiest and proudest moments in life came from his family. His children brought much joy to him, but as it is with most grandparents, his extreme happiness came from his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patsy Clem; daughters, Debbie Clem and Lisa Blaine of Tyler; son Dennis Clem and wife Elaine of Waxahachie; grandchildren, Ryan and Christie Clem of Waxahachie, Donny and Erin Blaine of Tyler, T.J. and Chandee Chapman of Tyler.
