Ralph Edward Payne

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5 to 7 pm, May 6, 2014 at Lloyd James Funeral Home, Tyler, Texas.

Ralph passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 in Tyler, Texas at the age of 80 years old.

He was born on February 7, 1934 in San Antonio, Texas to Corbett J. and Alice Ehrlich Payne.

Ralph was a retired machinist and scheduler for Bio Industry. He also was retired from the US Air Force, where he had served his county for 20 years. He was a member of the Covenant Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother Corbit L. Payne.

He is survived by his daughter, Charlaine Hurt of Wooster, Ohio; a son Scott Higgins of Winters, California; brother John Payne, Jacksonville, Texas; sisters, Sandra Tanberg of Corinth, Texas and Darlene Payne of Bullard, Texas; and two grandchildren, Zachary Higgins and Yvonne Hurt.
