Ramiro Pacheco Sr.

Ramiro Cantu Pacheco was born on December 5, 1937 in Bastrop Tx. to Pascual Sanchez Pacheco and Maria Cantu and died January 12, 2025 in Tyler Tx. He was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Mr. Pacheco was preceded in death by both parents, five brothers and one sister. Mr. Pacheco is survived by his wife Nancy Pacheco, daughters Dolores Villanueva, Delia Torres, Della Mendez, sons David Pacheco and Ramiro Pacheco Jr, step children Gwen Panter, Angela Walker, Clint Owen, sisters Lupe Merino, Margie Campos and brother Gilbert Pacheco and their families.

Mr. Pacheco was a long time resident of Tyler, Tx. and a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.

The Pacheco family would like to thank all the Brookdale Tyler East staff and the Kindful Health hospice nurse for their excellent care of Mr. Pacheco.

The family will receive friends at Lloyd James Funeral Home beginning at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, Jan.16th until 6:00 p.m. at which time a Rosary will take place, with visitation continuing after the rosary, until 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 17th at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Hank Lanik officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
