Services for Raymond Edward Derr, 90, of Tyler, are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 22, 2015, in the chapel of Lloyd James Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Byrd officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Derr passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015, in Tyler.
He was born on November 17, 1924, in Dallas to the late Raymond and Susie Light Derr. He was 60-year member of the Masonic Lodge, served as an American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) bridge director in Tyler and earned an ACBL Masterpoint Rank of Silver Life Master.
He is survived by his grandson, George Tipple and fianceé, Jennifer Harrison.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two sisters, and daughter, Robbie Rae Tipple.
The family will receive friends from 9-10:00 A.M., Wednesday at the funeral home.
