Rhonda Ann Smith

Graveside services for Rhonda Ann Smith, 57, of Tomball formerly of Tyler are scheduled for 4:00 p.m., Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Tyler Memorial Park with Rev. James Cheatham officiating under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.

Ms. Smith passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 in Houston.

She was born on February 26, 1954 in Tyler to the late Charles Leslie and Dorothy Louise Deaton Smith. She was a graduate of John Tyler High School in 1972. Tyler Junior College and then the University of Texas, Tyler with a master’s degree in accounting. She was a Baptist and was self employed the in telecommunications software business. She had lived in Houston since 1978.

She was preceded in death by her nephew, Sean Smith.

She is survived by her sister, Renee’ Wilson of Tomball and brothers, Ronny Smith of Joshua, Randy Smith and wife Judy of Arp and Roger Smith of Brownsboro; uncle, Charles Deaton of Groesbeck; aunt, JoAnne Blanchard and husband Jim of Pittsburg; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Scritchfield, Cory Smith, Kevin Smith, Lacy Smith, Chad Wilson, Chase Wilson, Lesley Smith and Haley Smith; great nieces and nephews, Stacia Scritchfield, Brean Scritchfield, Jazmin Scritchfield, Charles Wilson, Cason Wilson, Hadley Wilson, Hannah Wilson, Madison Smith and Laney Smith.
