Steven Perry Davis

Steven Perry Davis, 63, of Tyler, Texas, passed away on November 3, 2025. He was born on September 13, 1962, in Tyler, Texas, to Perry and Gloria Davis. Raised in Tyler, Steven graduated from John Tyler High School in 1981 and later earned his associate degree in nursing from Tyler Junior College in 2010.

In 1984, Steven married Julia F. Eberhart, and together they built a loving family with their three children. Steven dedicated more than a decade of his professional life as a Registered Nurse at UT Health East Texas, serving his patients with deep compassion, skill, and an unwavering commitment to helping others.

Steven’s life was defined by his generous spirit and the care he extended to everyone around him. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he found his greatest joy in time spent with family. He loved camping, fishing, and working on his hot rod—passions that reflected his love of the outdoors, his curiosity, and his knack for fixing anything that came his way. His sense of humor, easygoing nature, and warm heart left a lasting mark on all who knew him.

Steven is survived by his loving wife, Julia Davis; his children, Megan Wright and her husband Garrett, Clayton Davis and his wife Justyna, and Annie Davis and her fiance Asher; his sister, Suzanne Davis; his brother, Ken Davis and his wife Karen; and his cherished grandchildren, Hayden, Maryn, Holland, Ryker, and Finley.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Gloria Davis.

A celebration of Steven’s life will be held at Lloyd James Funeral Home, 1011 E 1st St, Tyler, TX 75701, at 1:00 PM.
