

Taneen Johnson Jordan Neumeyer was born November 14, 1960 in Overton,Tx and passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 in Quitman, Texas. She attended Chapel Hill High School and graduated from West Rusk High School. She married David Neumeyer on September 2, 2006 and was happily married for 15 years. She worked at Distant Lands Coffee in Accounts Payable for 20 plus years. Taneen was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Keith Jordan; her father , Wenzel Johnson Sr., and all of her grandparents. Survivors are husband, David Neumeyer; her daughter, Courtney Sebring, step-daughter, Julie Wheeler and step-son, Jared Neumeyer; Grandson, Griffin. Parents are Carolyn & Donald Hanson, Mary Johnson. Siblings are Twilla Gray, Cindy Skirlock, Wayleen & Jared Wyche, Wenzel Johnson Jr. and Heather Johnson, Gaylon and Tanya Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Taneen loved everyone; she never met a stranger. She loved her life. It was simple to most but that is what she loved about it. She loved sitting on the front porch and looking out at her cows and listening to wind chimes. She loved talking and seeing her family and friends as much as possible. She loved her husband, David so much they were truly best friends. She was so happy to finally be a grandma. She was such a caring, loving, sweet lady, she made a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Lloyd James Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 16th at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery with Rev. Randy Shipman officiating, under direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
