Services for Vernie Marie Welch, 93, Tyler will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 27, 2012 at Bennett Cemetery near Groveton with the Rev. Max Symes officiating under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Mrs. Welch was born March 20, 1919 in Creecy to Temple and Molly Due Sullivan. She passed away on April 24, 2012 in Tyler.
Mrs. Welch moved to Tyler in 1963 and did sewing and alterations from 1963 until retiring in 2004.
She is survived by sons, Billy Welch and Hugh Welch of Tyler, Kenneth Welch and Jennie Silverberg of Dallas, Russell Welch and wife Janis of Longview. Grandchildren, Andrea Pool, Clint Welch, Christy Colvin, John Lewis, Chilsea Welch and Chase Niessen; geat-grandchildren, Henry and Lillian Pool, Ryder Welch Jesse Lewis and Abigail Lewis.
Family will receive friends from 6:30 – 8:30 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
