Victoria Delores Nick

September 19, 1969September 11, 2020

With her loving heart and beautiful voice Vicky led countless people into the presence of God through praise and worship, and on Friday, September 11, 2020, she stepped into His presence to worship Him face-to-face. To live is Christ and to die is gain. (Philippians 1:21). . .to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. (2 Corinthians 5:8) Vicky Nick was born on September 19, 1969. She grew up and went to school in the Henderson/Arp area. She met the love of her life, Bobby C. Nick, Jr. at Park Heights Assembly of God, and they were married there on February 1, 1991. Ever since she and Bobby graduated from Rhema Bible College in Broken Arrow, Ok, in 1996, they have served faithfully on staff and leadership, initially as Youth Pastors, and since 2002 as Worship Pastors at Church On The Move. Vicky was employed at Southside Bank as the manager of the Downtown office, as well as part-time at McAlister’s. Vicky’s kind and generous spirit has had a huge impact on everyone that knew her. She was always ready to pray for and encourage people. Her friendship meant the world to those closest to her. Whether Vicky was leading worship, speaking at a women’s gathering or church service, or praying for the sick and hurting, her compassionate heart, faith and love for Jesus were evident in every word. Vicky will be forever missed. She was the most sweetest person ever. I remember her and Bobby married me and my husband Francisco we had to do marriage counseling before we got married and she was always there with open arms if you needed someone to talk to. She was gods creator and inspired so many people.

I met Vicky at McAlisters. She had the most beautiful smile and caring attitude to everyone she greeted. I thought of her the other day and realized I had not seen her in a while. May God comfort her husband , family and friends.
Her beautiful soul will truly be missed but we will see her again one day.

Vicky was always one of the kindest, sweetest people I have ever met. So completely genuine and selfless, and her positivity was infectious. I met Vicky during my time at McAlister's Deli, where her and Bobby both worked part time, and they very quickly became loved members of the McAlister's family. Both Vicky and Bobby were some of my favorite people that I have met in the short time I've lived here in Tyler and I'll always remember how warm and embracing her energy was. Her sudden passing is unfortunate and she will be greatly missed.

It was our honor to serve as Vickie’s pastors when she was a teen at Lakeview.
She always had a sweet smile and a gentle spirit. When we would see each other as the years passed that same loving respectful personality would shine through. Our deepest condolences to the family. Our prayers are with you.
