William L. "Bill" Pitts

Funeral services for William L. “Bill” Pitts, 86, of Tyler are scheduled for 10:00am, Monday, September 7, 2015 at Lloyd James Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joe Keith officiating. Burial is in Cathedral of the Pines under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.

Mr. Pitts passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2015 in Tyler.

He was born on June 30, 1929 in Mena, Arkansas to the late Grady and Sarepta Montgomery Pitts. He was a long time member of Fifth Street Presbyterian and was a former partner for Ables Land Printing and Office Supplies.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Marie Pitts and a great grandchild, Andrew Glenn Loyd.

Survives include his daughters, Suzie Lambert and husband Mike of Gladewater, Betty Ables of Tyler and Diana Caddell and husband Keith of Abilene; sister, Betty Schoenfield of Denver, Colorado; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Matt Lambert, Blake Lambert, Tim Ables, Jeremy Ables, Brian Caddell, Brandon Caddell, Jeremy Loyd and Case Keenum.

In lieu of flowers memorials in his memory may be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
