Woodrow Wilson Clark was born on December 27, 1926 in Tyler, TX and went to be with our Lord on March 2, 2022. He is a WW2 Army Veteran stationed in the Philippines or wherever Uncle Sam called him to. After his service to our great country he came back home to Tyler, TX. He married the love of his life and had many numerous jobs here in Tyler. He read water meters for the Water Dept. After he did that a while God called him to be a fireman saving lives all around Tyler. He then worked for Texas Power and Light Company in Tyler and then transferred to the City of Sulphur Springs to TP&L there where he later retired after many years of service. When he retired he enjoyed his grandkids growing up and going fishing at Lake Fork where you can find him wetting a hook down at Popes Landing. He also loved spending time at church worshipping our Lord, loved being around God's people. Some of his loves is reading his bible everyday, reminiscing the past of growing up, playing some dominoes and 42. Most importantly he loved spending time with family and friends. He would never meet a stranger. He would talk to anyone and everyone. He just enjoyed life who wouldn't at 95 years old.
Woodrow is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Wife Lavena of almost 67 years of marriage and one baby daughter Rhonda. He is survived by daughter, Lisa Garrett (Dale) of Tyler and son, Gary Lee Clark (Ginny) of Arp. 3 Grandchildren Jason, Tiffany and Amanda and numerous nieces and nephews.
