Anna Koenig died on May 24, 2009. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Union City until her death. Anna was a typist for National heath and Welfare Fund in Englewood for 26 years retiring in 1980. She was the Founder, past President and treasurer of Animals Need You Inc. in West New York and a member since 1974.
Anna is the beloved wife of the late Frederick William Koenig and the dear sister of Mamie Cummings. She is the dear aunt of Eric Robin Cummings and Gail Moeller as well as the great aunt of 4 grandnephews.
The funeral will be on Thursday 5/28/2009 at 9:30am at Sts. Joseph and Michael Church with the interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
