Bruce Joseph Malia Sr., age 63 of Secaucus passed away on Tuesday, May 5th, 2020 at Hackensack Hospital. He was born on March 23, 1957 in Weehawken Township to the late Peter Malia Sr. and the late Angelina Malia. Bruce married Helen Elizabeth Krebs Malia on January 20th, 1987. He served in the United States Navy and received a Service Medal. Bruce loved to play basketball in Jefferson school yard and enjoyed taking care of his pool for the family to swim in. He was predeceased in death by his wife Helen Malia and brothers Pete Malia and Denis Malia. Bruce is survived by his children: Bruce Joseph Malia Jr. and Jessica Marie Malia; Sister: Arlene Malia Traiger; Grandchild: Nathan Antonio Rosado; Nieces: Melissa, Ashley, Brienna, and Chiara; Nephews: John, William, George, Theodore, Austin, and Evan.
Due to the current health concerns the funeral service will be held privately. He will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery. All arrangements are entrusted to Leber Funeral Home.
