

Carole was born in Brooklyn on August 31, 1942 where she lived most of her life until moving to New Jersey in 2007. She worked as a direct care worker for the United Cerebral Palsy of New York before retiring in 2013 after 24 years of dedicated service to the organization.
Carole was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Carole was preceded in death by her brothers Robert and Richard Henderson, and grandson Anthony Davis-Porter. She is survived by her sons Anthony Davis and his wife Jeannette, John Davis and his wife Iris, Bobby Davis and his wife Rihan, grandchildren, Christian, and his wife Marta, Steven, Zack, Josef and great granddaughter Jayannah Porter.
Carole was loved by many who she considered family which included Barbra Bornhoeft, her childhood friend of 63 years and godmother to her eldest son Anthony. Mocha Davis called her “Mom” and her old friend Julia (Nini) Velazquez considered Carole the “5th Velazquez sister.” Carole also remained close with Annette Tillman, her ex-sister in-law and her family.
Carole also enjoyed watching old westerns, loved dogs and her Pepsi on ice. She will forever be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
