Doris Marie Lunburg (nee. Nibbe) 95, of Rutherford, passed away on Friday 9/25/15.She was born and raised in Union City before moving to Rutherford several years ago. Doris was a graduate of Holy Family High School and was a homemaker.
She was the beloved wife of the late Gustav Lunburg. Doris was the devoted mother of Michael Lunburg and his wife Patricia and Linda Hoefling and her late husband Edward. She was the loving grandmother of Kirsten Hoefling Rood and Husband Jason, Corey Hoefling, Dawn Caldwell and Kim Jones.
The funeral will be on Wednesday 9/30/15 at Holy Family Church in Union City at 10AM. The visitation will be on Tuesday 9/29/15 at the Leber funeral Home from 3 to 8pm. For those desiring a donation in her name may be made to The Veterans of Foreign Wars.
