Hector Luis Marquez Jr.

Hector L. Marquez Jr., born on October 17, 1972, peacefully departed from this world on June 14, 2024, leaving behind a profound legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his wife, Lenny Matos, and his five beloved children: Hector L. Marquez III, Alexny Medina, Skye Rivera, Mia Marquez, and Angel Marquez. He is also survived by his sisters Lilian Concepcion, Nancy Marquez, Angel Luis Roman, Yessica Morel, Rashell Matos, and brother Luis Roman, as well as his fathers, Angel Roman and Hector Marquez Sr.

A native of Union City, NJ, Hector attended Emerson High School and went on to establish himself in the car industry. Beyond his professional achievements, Hector was known for his infectious laughter, generous spirit, and his remarkable ability to unite people, creating an atmosphere of joy wherever he went. His colleagues and clients alike cherished their moments with Hector, remembering him as truly one of a kind.

Hector's Life celebration will include visiting on Wednesday June 19th. from 4 pm to 9 pm at Leber Funeral Home in Union City.

Friends and family may begin gathering at 9:30 am on Thursday morning before services. Hector will be laid to rest at Flower Hill Mausoleum.

We celebrate a life lived fully and with compassion, and we are comforted knowing that Hector's memory will continue to inspire and bring solace to all who were touched by his kindness and warmth.
