Mrs. Helen V Gordon

Helen Gordon, 86, was of Union City and passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2009. She was born in the Bronx on July 3, 1923. Beloved wife of the late Louis Gordon. Loving, caring and great mother of; Patricia, Mary, Bernadette, Susan, Kathleen, Kevin, Brian, Margaret, Louann, Jean and the late Eileen as well as stepmother of Robert. Loving grandmother to 21 and great grandmother to 9. Beloved sister to; John, william and Maureen. Dear cousin and life long friend of Bernadette and her 8 children. Significant other and companion of William Ahrens with whom she spent many loving and special years."The Best Mom Ever" she was the much loved and very proud mother of eleven children, the most precious gifts in her life. Helen was a giving, loving, compassionate woman, familiar to those who knew her as the gentle "Petite, Smiling Irish Lady".Helen will now begin her life in the Happily Ever After with the Angels who will welcome her with open arms. "Don't Worry, Mom", we will all take care of each other as you blessed us with that caring Quality from the day each of us came into your life. We love you and will miss you but will hold you forever in our hearts.The funeral mass for Helen was held on Monday August 24, 2009 at 10:30am at Holy Family Church with the interment at George Washington Memorial Park.
