James Joseph Briggs

60, of North Bergen, NJ, passed away on September 1, 2020 from pancreatic cancer. Jim was born November 4, 1959 in Hartford, CT. He is survived by his loving wife Evelyn, his step-daughter Kayla, his beloved granddaughter Lily, his sister-in-law Kathy (and husband Bob), his sisters Patti Haney and Christine Fiske (and husband Warren), as well as his twin brother Jeff (and wife Barbara), and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim is predeceased by his parents C. Donald and Mary Fran Briggs, and his older brother Don.

Jim worked in the music industry for many years, during which time he made a number of life-long friendships. In recent years, he worked in the telecommunications industry. His sense of humor, strong work ethic, love of music, and devotion to family and friends will be greatly missed. The courage and dignity with which Jim faced his illness was an inspiration to all who knew and loved him. Memorial service will be held at Leber Funeral 2000 Kennedy Blvd in Union City, New Jersey on Friday, September 12th, 2020
