Joan Brown 84, of Secaucus, passed away on Friday June 22, 2018. She was born in Jersey City and lived most of her life in Union City before moving to Secaucus 10 years ago. Joan was a member of the cleaning staff for The Union City Board of Education for many years before retiring.
Joan was the beloved mother of Debra Medina and husband John, James Brown, Kevin Brown and wife Caroline, Nancy Brown and the late Sharon Brown. She was also the loving grandmother of 8 grand and 9 great grandchildren.
The visitation will be on Monday June 25, 2018 at the Leber funeral Home from 4 to 8pm with a prayer service to be held at 5:30pm.

Mom, I miss you so very much. I never thought I would say this, but I miss doing your wash...lol...if I could have one more meal to feed you and then tell you how I feel, that would have been amazing...I think about you all day, every day. My heart is broken, but

There are many..I laugh at the most when Mrs. Brown n my mom would look for Sharon, Nancy n I at the school yard..🤣🤣 we thought we were slick but not for them..I always remember her hanging out the window, her Mac n Cheese. Such good times back then I will miss her as I miss my own mother. RIP Charlie Brown 🙏🏻🙏🏻😇😇
