Beloved husband of Maria (nee Gieb), Devoted father of Marianna Loughner, Donna Patone, William Loughner and the late John, Dear father in law of John Patone, Loving grandfather of Joseph and Vickie, Loving great-grandfather of Seth and Ariyonna.
Loughner was born in Latrobe, Pa. He was a longtime Jersey City resident and a former chief of the Jersey City Police Auxiliary. He worked as an assembly worker for Ford Motor Co. before he retired.
He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
