Joseph P. Roefaro 87, of Jersey City, Passed away on Sunday 12/30/13. He was born and lived most of his life in Jersey City. Joseph was a printer for the Stone Container Co. of North Bergen for many years before retiring. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II.
Joseph was the beloved husband of Barbara. He was the devoted father of; John and wife Mary, Joann Garzon and husband Franklin, Robert and wife Diane, Karen Roefaro and Tony Del Duca and wife Dawn. He was the dear brother of Mario and wife Josephine and the late Maria Moretti. He was also the loving grandfather of 14 and the great grandfather of 13.
The funeral will be on Saturday 1/4/13 at 9am from the Leber Funeral Home in Union City then to St. Anthony Church where at 10am a mass will be offered. The entombment will follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum.
The visitation will be on Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.
