Laura Segovia

Born in Vallenar, Chile on July 12, 1939, to the late Francisco & Blanca Guiterrez. She married Osvaldo Segovia in 1958 had two children Francisco Segovia and Laura Yvonne Segovia

before venturing out to the United states and settling in Jersey City of which she made her permanent residence. She went on to have a third child Barbara Segovia.

Survivors include the father of her children Osvaldo Segovia, loving daughters, Laura Yvonne Segovia Fernandez and her spouse, Dennis, Barbara Segovia Ortiz, five grandchildren,

Alicia Fernandez Poythress and her spouse Christopher, Angela Fernandez, Jordan Ortiz, Estevan Segovia and his spouse Gabriella, Marcus Ortiz, four great-grandchildren,

Christopher (CJ)Poythress, Cristian Poythress, Alex Poythress and Gianna Nicole Segovia.

Laura’s Celebration of Life will be held at the Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Kennedy Blvd, Union City, NJ 07087, on Friday, May 6th from 4-8PM.
