Maria Gil

Maria Gil of North Bergen, NJ passed away on Wednesday, March 28th, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Maria was born in Pinar Del Río, Cuba on December 14th, 1920, as the second oldest of 11 siblings. She lived in Cuba until the year 1966 when she immigrated to the USA along with her late husband, Casimiro Gil and their four children.

Maria was a kind, loving and generous woman who devoted her entire life to her family and faith.

Survivors include her loving children - Ricardo Gil, Margarita Sanz, Alicia Gil, Maria Dybalski (spouse Ken) and seven adoring grandchildren - Ivette, Gabriel, Steve, Eleanor, Richard, Stephen, Kevin and their spouses. Twenty cherished great grandchildren - Ovidio, Kiaya, Jacob, Aaron, Elizabeth, Deborah, Rebecca, Stephen, Joseph, Maria, Catherine, Mathew, Carmen, Abigail, Luisa, Mila, Elias, Marcelo, Mason and Ethan.

Maria is also survived by five siblings, Ida, Jose Roque, Manuela, Cristobal and Rita.

Maria's Life Celebration will include visiting on Saturday, March 31, from 4-8 PM at the Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Kennedy Blvd, Union City, NJ, A funeral mass will be offered on Monday, April 2, beginning at 10:30 AM at St. Anthony R.C.C. Friends and family may begin gathering at 9:00 am Monday morning at the Funeral Home before services. Maria will be laid to rest at Flower Hill Mausoleum 4433 JFK Blvd. North Bergen NJ
