Dearest Marisol was a sweet, kind, loving and caring person. My family came to know her from the neighborhood we lived in Brooklyn many years ago. She was friends with my nieces and nephew and were reacquainted later in life as adults. She had a good heart and was easy to get along with because of her kind heartedness. She is now at peace after much struggles in her life. She will be missed by all, but heaven has gained another angel and she will be watching over all she loved.

On September 15, Marisol, her nieces/ God daughter and I spent a special day together. She was extremely happy to see us. She was and will always be a sister to me. She wanted to cook for us and along with her son Brian who assisted her made a delicious spanish meal. (Arroz con Gandules and corn beef, delicious) She always called me sister, and adore all my 4 children. She will be deeply missed, gone but never ever forgotten. We love you always, Selena, Thalía, Carlos Adrián and Carlos Manuel Jr.(Your brother too) Carlos Sr (father).

To my two nephews Matthew and Brian,
It’s truly a very sad and difficult time for you both. To have your mother pass away at such a young age but we will have her in our prayers. Your Mom is no longer in pain but resting in peace.
