Nancy taught me all I knew about our shared profession at that time. Her birthday was always the same as my father's so I never forgot her. I lost touch with her over the years but when looking to reconnect, I found out this sorrowful news. I'll miss you and Pearl too. Both my daughters had Nancy as a guidance counselor, so I had many conversations with her over those years. In fact, we became friendly and met for dinner with the intention of going to a showing of an education centered movie. Well, we got talking, and talking and talking... and suddenly it was too late for dinner. We both burst out laughing and then laughed at our own giddiness. So we did the next best thing - we made an evening of wandering around town and going out for dessert. 
I had hoped for many years of friendship to come, but God wanted her to come home to him. I miss Nancy and think of her often. She was truly a gifted person and precious woman. 

I just found out about 2 weeks ago that this wonderful lady passed away. I was so sadden to hear this. She was my supervisor at Essex County College for numerous of years, what a lost. RIP Nancy P. Campbell. You are greatly missed.

Not only was she a great guidance counselor, but a great woman overall. During my first winter on my own, I lived on campus at njit. Due to poor budgeting I had no money for food left, and neither did my roommate. She came to us in our time of need, took us to a nice upscale restaurant and bought us the groceries we needed with absolutely no expectance to return the favor. I'm so thankful she helped me and I regretfully never returned the favor. This was 8 years ago and I still feel like I missed the opportunity to help such a lovely woman in her time of need. You will always be remembered, Ms Campbell. 

An amazing person, dedicated to her role in guiding student through their high schools years and encouraging them find their passion when moving beyond high school.  She was driving force in getting my son through high school and onto the road of great success.  Always a smile for everyone and a way of reaching and inspiring all children.  She will always have a special place in my heart for the kindness she showing my sons and myself.   

Beloved friend from our days at St Peter's College/University, Centennial Class - 1972.  She was very smart, funny, and had a quick wit.  Glad to see that she was able to work as a Guidance Counselor to students.  Perfect fit for someone who had so much to offer.

So sorry to learn of Nancy passing.  She was a remarkably mature and compassionate student at William L. Dickinson High School in Jersey City when I last had contact with her.  So sorry to have lost touch, and sad to learn she died too soon.  I'm sure her life involved helping and caring for many.  May she rest in peace.

Nancy was a college friend of mine and i just learned of her passing.  She was a sweet, caring person whom I shall miss.  Rest in peace my friend.

Nancy Campbell was one of the best people I know. When I graduated and was living in Newark, I was too poor to afford food during one winter, and she took me and my friends out to eat, then bought us all food at the supermarket in the ironbound. 

I wish I could have done something in return.

Ms. Campbell was fun, sweet, generous, and well-liked by her students and fellow staff-members.

Our deepest condolences to Ms. Nancy Campbell's family and friends. 

Ms. Campbell will always be remembered for her love for each child along with her beautiful smile. She will be missed however her legacy will live on as one great educator who made a difference in so many lives. 

When we give out candy at Halloween we will always remember Ms. Campbell for the candy she gave to all students who went to her office.
