That "grumpy ol' man" was far from being that. He may have given that impression on the outside, but anyone who knew him knew otherwise. Peter, you were a genuinely nice and generous man, with a great sense of humor, and I always enjoyed our 'driveway talks'. I will miss you!

A caring human being and a man of honor.....
I will always remember our talks in the backyard, watching you from my window sanding down that wood to the 'perfect smoothness', your smile, your kindness and most of all your words of encouragement in my toughest days.....
I ask God to give your spirit light and love as you gave those around you.
I promise to keep an eye on your better half and your pup who were by your side as you began your new journey....
Rest In Peace you grumpy ol' man...... 'Opa!'...luv u

Dear Sandy,
There are no words we can say to ease the pain in your heart. Knowing you for so long, we know Peter was the love of your life and you were his. Whenever we were with the both of you, there were always fun times and laughter. That is how we will remember Peter. Know you and Peter are in our prayers. He is out of pain and suffering, but his love is everlasting and will always remain alive in your heart. With much love, Pat & Jack Shaw

Peter was a treasured friend of ours, and not having him is going to be very hard to bear. It is like a part of us has gone missing. We knew Pete was tired from his fight to stay with those he loved; you saw it in his face. And although we prayed and prayed because we wanted him to stay, God called him home to rest and he is being well taken care of by God and the many Angels ahead of us. And although he may be in a better place, he will be missed by all that loved him. But I know this: when we meet next, Pete (aka Bob) will be waiting at Heaven's Gate holding a large plate of his special linguine & clam sauce, a giant bowl of salad and the dominos's will be set up waiting on us. I am thankful for the times and memories we have, and although they remind us of our loss, they also remind us of our special times together. Our hearts are broken and all our love, support and condolences to the love of his life: Sandy. It has been an honor calling him friend and having him as part of our family.

We knew Pete was so tired from his fight to stay with those he loved; you saw it in his face. And although we prayed and prayed because we wanted him to stay, God called him home to rest. He is being well taken care of because I believe God knows what is best. There is no doubt that he is in a better place. We will miss him so much, but I know that when we meet next, Pete will be standing at Heaven's Gate holding a large plate of clam sauce and linguini, a HUGH bowl of salad and will have the domino's set up waiting for us.
