Robert J. Santomenna 86, of Union City, passed away on Saturday 11/7/15. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Union City. Bobby was the owner of the Ichiban Tavern in Union City for many years before retiring. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in World War II.
Bobby was the devoted father of Patricia Botti and husband Timothy. He was the dear brother of Nunzio Santomenna, the late James and Michael Santomenna as well as the dear brother in law of Rose Santomenna. He was the loving grandfather of Lee Thieling, Timothy Botti Jr. and Victoria Botti, also the great grandfather of Haylee, Christina and Brett Thieling.
The funeral will be on Monday 11/16/15 at 6pm at the Leber Funeral Home with the interment on Tuesday at 11:30am at the New Jersey Veteran’s Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
