Albert J. Cichon Jr. died on Wednesday November 21, 2012 at the age of 83. Albert was born on December 9, 1928 in San Antonio, Texas to Albert Sr. and Stella Cichon. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict, with the rank of AB3. He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Dorothy Spaeth; brother, Robert Cichon; son, David Albert Cichon; and grandson, Dustin Cichon. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Berneice M. Cichon; daughter, Deborah Hardwick and husband Robert; son, Mark Cichon and Jeannie Dye; daughter, Ann Menchaca and husband Tim; 10 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. He opened Shamrock Finance in 1965 with Allen Cone and retired in 1995. Al enjoyed working with his longhorn cattle and his artwork. He was a former member of the Optimist Club, Shriners, and past president of the Coppini Academy of Fine Arts. Special thanks to the Odyssey Hospice and Heartland Staff.
