Allen L. Harms, age 83 passed away on Tuesday January 1, 2013. He was born March 2, 1929 in Nordheim, Texas to Willie and Irma (Onken) Harms. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Allen is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Garriet Harms. Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Darlene Harms; children, Jerry Harms and wife Stephanie, Nancy McCale and husband Don; grandchildren, Bryan Davis, Larry Davis, Brandon Harms, Lindsey Harms, and Rylan Harms; great grandchildren, Mia Davis, Gavyn Davis, Luca Davis, Brandon Lee Harms, and Sophia Harms. A visitation and funeral service will be held at Colonial Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 9:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. with the service beginning at 12:30 P.M. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors
