Alma J. Lewis passed away on August 18, 2013 at the age of 75. She was born on July 10, 1938 in Libertyville, MO to Johnny and Mabel (Heberlie) Tessereau. She is preceded in death by her parents; survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Jerry Lee Lewis Sr. USAF, Retired; daughter, Teresa Lewis, her husband Stephen; son, Jerry Lee Lewis Jr., his wife Debra C. Dove; sister, Leanna Williams, her husband Eugene; grandchildren, Stephen Lewis, Melissa Lewis, and Sarah Ann Lewis; brother-in-law, Bob Lewis; and numerous nieces and nephews. She retired from the Judson School District after 30 years. Special thanks go to her care givers from Amed Hospice; Jan Naylor, RN and Patricia Nunez, CNA. A visitation and funeral service will be held at Colonial Funeral Home on Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., and Friday, August 23, 2013 at 1:30 P.M. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:45 P.M. In lieu of flowers please make any donations to the Wounded Warriors Program or Amed Hospice.
