Alvin was born in Royal Oak, Michigan on February 24, 1934 to William T. and Adra G. Hancock.
Mr. Hancock was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Roseann Hancock. He is survived by his children: Lynn Lamprecht (Mark) of Seguin, Texas, Lori Sondag (Tommy Frank) of Del Rio, Texas, and Lisa Tripp (Tim) of Seguin, Texas; grandchildren: Samantha Courtney (Ethan), Michael Sondag, Elizabeth Sondag, Fred Ryan Rodriguez, Jacob Tripp and Taylor Tripp; great grandchild: Amelia Courtney; nephews Robert Mattison & Dennis Mattison and great-nephews Keith Mattison and Mark Mattison.
A graveside service will be held October 24, 2016, 2pm at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
