
Ambrose was raised in San Antonio TX. As a young man he grew up fast and became the family breadwinner for his mother and siblings. He began working for HEB grocery and would continue there for 35 years. He started in the stores and soon became a licensed diesel mechanic working fleet maintenance.
After working at HEB he was inspired and became an entrepreneur and opened a restaurant in 1985.
His wife and children and extended family would go on to work at Casa Nortena on the northeast side of the city. As the owner and manager of the restaurant he ran it successfully for 15 years and became fast friends with many customers in the community. His perseverance, incredible sense of humor and common sense were some of his strongest attributes.
He is preceded in death by his devoted wife, Hope and his son, Edward. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia and her children Brianna, Trevor, and Colby; His son, Steven, his wife, Sandra and their daughter, Zoe and Edward's daughter, Maggie.
In lieu of flowers his last request to family and friends would be to simply have dinner
with your loved ones and share stories and laughter.
A private family viewing will be held for immediate family.
