Nita Clamp of Universal City passed away on January 28, 2016 at the age of 44. She was born on February 22, 1971 in Germany to Jimmie and Esther (Ibarra) Clamp. She graduated from Judson High School “Special Needs” in 1993. She is survived by her parents; brothers Steven Clamp, Scott Clamp (wife Debra), Gerry Clamp (wife Jennifer), John Clamp (wife Cindy), Eric Clamp (wife Demi); sister Vicki Gonzales (husband Danny) and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and other family members who love her.
Anita was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, mental and motor retardation, and was clinically blind. She was taken care of at home by her mom and dad, 5 brothers, her sister Vicki, and various nursing staff. There was no easy road for Nita, but even though she couldn’t communicate with us verbally or walk with us anywhere, she still let us know that she was acutely aware of our presence and always had a smile or laugh waiting for us.
Certainly, she is up in Heaven enjoying her new journey and enjoys a special seat of honor next to our Father. Her friends and family will miss her greatly and think of her often. Anita, you never complained, you never gave up, and you were braver than us all.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you give a donation to Morgan’s Wonderland, clicking on the Donate Now button and using the special dedication area to type, “In honor of Anita Clamp”. Also, please click on the acknowledgement box so the family will receive notification. The family will create an inscription on the Memorial Wall in Nita’s honor.
