Antonio S. Moreno of Schertz, Texas went to be with his Lord on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the age of 83. Antonio was born October 5, 1935 in Martindale, Texas to Ireneo and Martina (Sanchez) Moreno.

Antonio served in the U.S. Army before meeting and marrying his wife of 53 years Marcelina Lopez. He worked and retired as an electrician from Longhorn Cement in San Antonio. He then attended Hallmark Institute of Technology where he studied aircraft mechanics. After graduating he worked at Laughlin AFB in Del Rio, Texas. His skills as an electrician soon brought him back to San Antonio to work and retire from Alamo Cement. After retiring he devoted his days and nights to the things he loved; his marriage, his family, his garden, his 1939 Chevrolet, and most of all his faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Asencion Moreno & Jesus Moreno, sisters Josefa Silva & Juana Torres. He is survived by his wife Marcelina, children Sonya (Joe) Martinez Jr, Patricia (David Perez) Moreno, Antonio (Jennifer) Moreno, Linda (Scott) Gregory, 12 grandchildren, Joseph,Eric, Krystal, Nicole, Abigail, Joshua, Jacob, Kalleen, Antonio, John, Linda and Patty, 7 great-grandchildren, his brother Pedro (Lupe) Moreno, sisters Beatrice Prado, Julia (Lazaro) Rocha, Sisters-in-law Ramona Moreno and Felicita Moreno, numerous nephews , nieces, extended family and many friends.

A visitation with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. for Antonio will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148. Procession will depart the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. and funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 16075 North Evans Road, Selma, TX 78154. A committal service will occur Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Cemetery #2, 16075 No. Evans Road, Selma, TX 78154.
