Armand U. Guillemette passed at the age of 80 years Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at SAMMC in San Antonio. Armand was the youngest of 6 children of Edouard and Eva Guillemette; he is survived by his brother, Ray (Phyllis). Armand leaves wife Claire, children Ronald, Diane Martin (Joe), Philip (Jodi), Elaine Brookshire (Chuck), Sharon Forinash (Glenn), Peter (Reine), and Vivian McKenzie (Ron), 21 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Armand, a local member of the American Legion and VFW, served 22 years in the USAF and retired from the USPS. An active member of Good Shepherd Parish in Schertz, Armand served as a Lay Eucharistic Minister and minister to the homebound and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. A Visitation will be on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 A.M. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. with Father Roger Levesque. Interment will follow at a later date at Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River, MA.
