

Armin Elton Albert Sr. died on June 30, 2014. Armin was born on May 06, 1934 in Dewees, Texas to Arnold E. and Alma (Nitsche) Albert. Armin is best known for Albert Distributing Company and his time at Ben E. Keith. He is still fondly recalled as the “Potato Chip Man”. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Armin E. Albert, Jr. and a sister, Melba Albert Crisp. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Lucille Kassner Albert; Daughters, Janet Wiatrek and her husband Gilbert; Charlene Weeks and her husband Tommy; Son, Merland Albert and his wife Bonnie; Deanna Valdez and her husband Richard, Son Elton Albert and his wife Melissa; Grandchildren, Adam Wiatrek, Emily Wiatrek, Ashley Garcia, Eric Albert, Aaron Albert, Beau Albert, Colin Albert, Holly Groover, Todd Albert, Joshua Albert, Simon Valdez, Jonah Valdez, Isaiah Valdez, and Jordan Albert; Great Grandchildren, Chloe Wiatrek, Cali Wiatrek, Colton Wiatrek, Braylon Groover, Nicholas Libertini, V, and two other great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be Monday, July 7, 2014 from 6:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. and funeral services will be on Tuesday, July 08, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. Both services will be at Colonial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
