Beatrice “Bea” Kinard passed away on April 26, 2012 at the age of 83. She was born on February 17, 1929 in Elsa, Texas to Doroteo and Cruz Rodriguez Olivares. “Bea” was preceded in death by her parents; survived by her loving husband of 60 years, James W. Kinard; daughters, Belinda Rankin, her husband Jerry, Dina Cothran, husband Tom and June Kinard; son, Charles Kinard; grandchildren, Sam Kinard, Devina Rankin, Salena Anderson, Christina Rankin, Candace Boudy, Kevin Anderson, Rachael Noble and Andrea Anderson; sister, Belen Foster; nieces, Valerie Wallender and Brenda Foley; nephew, David Foster; and 14 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home, with Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 12:30 P.M. at St. Monica's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:30 P.M.
