August 29, 1990 – September 23, 2026
Belen R. Braudaway, 36, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on September 23, 2026.
Born on August 29, 1990, Belen lived a life filled with creativity, individuality, family, and tradition. She had a strong sense of who she was and was never afraid to express it.
Belen found joy in artwork, cooking, taking pictures, and expressing herself through her own unique style. She appreciated nature and the changing seasons and held traditions and celebrations close to her heart. She especially enjoyed carrying on family traditions through food and creating memories around the things that brought people together.
At the center of Belen's life was the family she created with her husband, Clinton Braudaway, and their two daughters, Ari Athena and Astraya Braudaway. She was a devoted wife and mother, and the love she had for her family was a defining part of her life.
Being a mother to Ari and Astraya meant so much to Belen. She encouraged her girls to be creative, caring, thoughtful, and confident in who they are. The love, lessons, traditions, and memories she gave them will remain a part of their lives as they grow.
Belen's 36 years were far too few, but a life is not measured simply by the number of years lived. It is also measured by the love given, the memories created, and the pieces of ourselves that we leave behind in the people we love.
Belen leaves behind a husband who loved her, two daughters who will forever carry pieces of their mother with them, and many family members and friends who will continue to remember the life she shared with them.
As the seasons continue to change and the light continues to return, so too will the memories of Belen remain a reminder that although a life may end, the love left behind does not.
A Celebration of Life will begin at 10:00 am on October 21, 2026, at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148.
