Bertha Fortune Martin passed away on June 13, 2011 at the age of 63. She was born on March 22, 1948 in the Republic of Panama. She is preceded in death by her father, John B. Fortune Sr.; survived by her mother, Dora Fortune; sisters, Linda De La Fuente and Betty Brun; brothers, John B. Fortune Jr., his wife Charlotte and Robert L. Fortune Sr., his wife Shirley; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel.
