Betty Juanita Long

Betty was born to Robert and Omie Hill on November 17, 1930 in San Antonio, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 51 years, Raymond Long, her grandson Darby Ray Long, Jr as well as her 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

Betty is survived by her four children; Deborah Broussard (Robert) of Marion, TX, Barbee Smith (Tommy) of San Antonio, TX, Darby Long (Vera) of Twin Falls, ID and Coby Long (Carla) of Devine, TX. Also by 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister-in-law, Dottie Hill, of San Antonio, TX and special friend and niece, Bernice Passmore of Crossville, TN along with many other nieces and nephews.

Before Betty became ill she enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with her many friends at GRASP in Converse, TX.

Betty’s family would like to thank the Devine Health and Rehabilitation, Senior Buddies of San Antonio, Alamo Hospice and their staffs for all of their compassion and care.

A visitation for Betty will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148, followed by a funeral service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Interment will be a private ceremony at Ft. Sam Houston Cemetery on April, 20, 2021 at 11:00 am
