Betty Lorraine Miles

January 7,20t5. She was born August 13, 1934 in San Antonio to Gilbert and

Lorraine Gerfers. She is preceded in death by her husband Jim, her parents

Gilbert and Lorraine, son Joey and grandson Shawn. She is survived by her

daughter Karen {Gary} Gaskins, sons Jim Miles (Amy} and Toby Miles (Pera},

grandsons Corey Barton (Anna), Chad Miles (Jennifer), Brandon Miles (Regan)

and five great-grandchildren Noah, Emery, Kynzie, Kely and Katy.

Betty graduated from Harlandale High School in San Antonio. She met Jim who

was stationed at Kelly Air Force Base and they married February 18, 1955. Betty

was a member of Rolling Oaks Baptist Church and enjoyed serving in many roles

since X990. She also loved cheering on the San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Cowboys

and Texas Longhorns but above all was time spent with her grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 31,2015 at 1:00 pm at Rolling

Oaks Baptist Church, 6401 Wenzel, San Antonio, Texas with Pastor John Boubel

officiating.
