

Betty Jo Thompson Reagan died surrounded by family on Jan. l7th. at the age of 87. Betty was born in San Angelo, TX to Benjamin and Sarah Mattie Thompson. She attended Tivy High in Kerrville, TX where she was head drum majorette and was crowned Miss Kerrville. Betty married Army Lt. John William Reagan on Sept. 6,1947. She delighted in traveling the world during John's postings. After John's retirement, they returned to Texas where Betty spent 25 years working with the Accounting and Finance Dept. at Brooks AFB. Betty's hobbies included cooking, playing the piano, singing in the church choir and as a Docent at the McNay Art museum. Betty is survived by her daughters, Sarah Ann Quellar and Linda Jo Hamel, five
grandchildren and five great grandchildren. There will be a viewing from 4-6:30 pm, Jan. 28th at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Rd. Universal City, Interment will be at 2:30 pm on Jan. 29th at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, followed by a memorial service and reception at 4:00 p.m. at the Army Residence Community Chapel, 7400 Crestway Dr., San Antonio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
