Billie Beth Sanders Watson

Billie Beth Watson born February 4, 1922 in Stephenville, Texas passed away Monday, November 15, 2010 at BAMC in San Antonio, Texas with her family by her side after a short illness. She is survived by her sons, Robert Walter Stahmann of Boerne, Texas, and Glenn Howard Watson Jr. of San Antonio, Texas; sisters-in-law, Delores Neese of Waxahachie, Texas; Diane Sanders of W. Sacramento, California; daughter-in-law Debbie Stahmann of Boerne, Texas; grandson, Bobby Stahmann of Mexico; Niece, Vickie Goddard of Waxahachie, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Glenn H. Watson Sr. who was a MSgt., in the USAF who served his country during WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, retiring in 1957. He also served in the Navy and was a Merchant Marine. They were married in 1946 providing the family with a military life in many US Cities and the Panama Canal Zone for 3 years. Mr. Watson passed away in June of 2005 at the age of 83 in San Antonio, Texas. Preceding her in death was her mother, Mellie Smith Nelson of San Antonio, Texas; her father, Sam Sanders of California; brothers Jack Sanders of California; Bernie Boice of Amarillo, Texas; Uncle Floyd C. Smith of San Antonio, Texas. She will be missed and remembered by many Nieces and Nephews in Texas and California. Many neighbors and close friends, including Julianna Lindner of Comfort Texas and Bobby Baker of San Antonio, Texas. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, with Minister Kevin Goddard of the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall officiating under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home.
