Billy Glenn Dillow

Born in Woodville Oklahoma on Nov.9, 1928, he lived in the San Antonio Texas area most of his life. Bill was a veteran of the U.S Army/Airforce, where he enlisted at 17 years old and retired as a Major in 1973. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Universal City where he had developed many friends, and grew in his faith. He sold real-estate for many years (1974-2018). Bill can be greatly remembered for his loving to go on walks, playing games and eating dinner at several of his favorite restaurants. Up until his later years, he enjoyed fishing and golf. He was a special dad, papa, great-papa, and friend who will be greatly missed to all those lives he touched.

Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Dillow and by his two wives, Betty Dillow and Geraldine Smith. Bill is survived by children; Carol Darnell(Don), Robert Dillow, and John Dillow (Sue); grandchildren, Michele Tanchak (Jeff),Chad Darnell, Matthew Darnell(Norma), Erica Bauer(John), Mike Dillow, John Paul Dillow; great-grand children, Austin, Jackson, Wyatt, Levi, Samuel; and many more extended family and friends.

Bills family would like to thank Four Seasons Hospice and Seasons Alzheimer’s Care &Assisted Living for taking care of him during his final days. Because of the times we are in services will be as follows: April 23, 2020 from 5:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M. a visitation can be viewed on Facebook Live at the Colonial Funeral Home Universal City Texas Facebook Live Page. His memorial service can be viewed on April 24, 2020 at 11:00am at the Colonial Funeral Home Universal City Texas Facebook Live Page. Interment will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd. San Antonio, Tx 78209. Bill’s family requests memorials to Four Seasons Hospice, or any charity of choice. Bill donated to many charities, and would be pleased to know his family and friends have given to any population of need.
