Billy was born on April 28, 1951, in San Antonio, Texas, to parents Ralph Adolph and Lola Adaline Taubert.
Billy grew up on the family dairy farm. He began working on the farm and other various jobs early in life. Billy retired from Devo / ICI Dulux Paint after 30+ years working as a paint associate and delivery driver.
He could be found watching movies or television shows about the Old West almost daily. He always felt that he was born in the wrong generation. He was a part of a billiard league on Wednesday nights with several of his best friends for over 40 years, up until his passing. When the weather allowed for it, he loved taking his 1974 Dart Sport to car shows around San Antonio.
Billy is survived by his loving wife of 41 years: Carolyn Kay Taubert; his two sons: Michael Lutz (wife Mayuri), and Kenneth Lutz (wife Abigail); three brothers: Bubba, James and Roy; five sisters: Dorothy, Doris Ann, Mary, Debbie and Barbie; and his three grandchildren: Cooper, Allyson and Rylee.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie Bauwens, Danny Hayward, Dennis Nace, Jody Jackson, Timmy Taubert, and Bobby Lee Rigby. Bubba Taubert will be serving as an honorary pallbearer.
The family would like to extend special thanks to all their friends and relatives for the love and support they have been shown in their time of need.
